In partnership with BlazeSports America, The Ability Sport Network at Huntingdon College hosted the 3rd Certified Disability Sport Specialist Training in Brewton, Alabama on March 6-7th, 2015. The cohort had a variety of participants which included State Department of Education employees, college professors, public school physical educators, as well as students from both Huntingdon College and Auburn University at Montgomery (for more news on ASN’s partnership with AUM, please visit: http://asn.huntingdon.edu/wp-admin/post.php?post=38668&action=edit&message=6)
During this two-day workshop, participants took part in interactive lectures, received hands-on training with adaptive equipment, and learned how to complete the requirements to become a Certified Disability Sport Specialist.
